The Tamson TV12LT visibility bath offers ultra-precise temperature control of 0.01°C down to -42°C. The TV12LT has integrated cooling and this makes it an excellent solution to test the viscosity according to ASTM D445, IP71 and ISO 3104 at sub-ambient temperatures. The TV12LT is an excellent solution to test the kinematic viscosity of aviation fuels at -20°C and -40°C. The TV12LT is ideal for aviation fuels conform ASTM D7566, as they need to be tested at -40°C. The TV12LT is equipped with an internal LED light for improved visibility. Also, the TV12LT has an ingenious construction that ensures a very high temperature uniformity inside the bath. The TV12LT also has window heating, to prevent the build up of condensation at the window. The TV12LT is equipped with both a drain and an overflow outlet. The bath conforms to CE regulations and has a mechanical over temperature device. Furthermore, the bath is equipped with a fluid that switches off the bath when the level of the bath fluid is too low.
